About Us - Nuwave Display for Quality Portable Signage

Nuwave Display was formed in 2010 to manufacture and sell good quality yet cost effective portable signage products. Since that time the company has grown rapidly and now offers a significant service to the event industry. That initial company ethos of providing a quality product at an affordable price remains, but now the range of products has grown to match that of most other suppliers, including branded gazebos, exhibition display sytems, branded popup event bins, alongside the manufacture of the popout banners (sometimes called pop-up banners or toblerone banners) advertising flags, custom-made branded products and roller banners of all sizes.

The print capacity at Nuwave has expanded from the early days. Nuwave do not sell foreign imports, all the banners, flags and other branded promotional items are made at the premises in North Yorkshire, so if you want a bespoke product made especially for you – Nuwave will do their utmost to oblige, just ask... And just to note, even though we are proud to say we come from Yorkshire, we do supply all of the UK. Our products are, in the main, light and very easy to transport, so delivery is not a problem to all corners of the country as well as abroad.  And talking of delivery, we aim to despatch all orders within five working days from approval of design.  Should you require your order quicker, just ask - we can and have designed, made and despatched an order within 24 hours!

The team at Nuwave Display has years of experience in providing portable signage and display solutions to the outdoor and indoor event industry. First and foremost, the team are there to help. No matter if your enquiry or order is for 100 flags or for just 1 banner, you will always receive an excellent level of service.

The Team

Julian Smyth-Osbourne

Julian has many years of experience in providing clients with portable signage solutions for their events to ensure the key messages are on display, on time, within budget and with the minimum of stress. Working with clients from the small ‘one man band’ to large multi-national marketing and advertising agencies, event management companies and end users, Julian’s detailed knowledge of large format printing and product expertise means that he always has an answer for even the most tricky brief! Julian has been largely responsible for the increase in the range of branded products offered by Nuwave Display. Not only is there the traditional oval-ended popout banner range, but vertical, round and square-ended popout banners. Meaning, that no matter what your event or company requirements, there will be a popout banner shape and size to suit your needs.

Production Team

The production side of Nuwave Display is led by Jane Donaldson, Jane has been with the company since 2012 and adds an extra special dimension to the company. When a client requests a bespoke item, Jane can be relied upon to find a way to make it! Her right hand woman is Dorne Thompson who is an accomplished seamstress and with a certain amount of wit and a lot of hard work fulfils hundreds of Nuwave orders.  Also in the production team is Sharon another accomplished seamtress and Sarah who is our 'Girl Friday'.  Sarah can undertake almost any role in the company, from sewing to packing, and from design work to printing, a great asset to have!

Finally, and by no means least, we have a new recruit - Niall.  Niall is our apprentice printer and we hope in time he will be able to use all the printers and presses and fulfill a most important role in the company.  .
